Senior Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join our offshore team in West Africa. This vital role is perfect for a professional looking to apply their expertise in electrical systems within the dynamic environment of offshore drilling operations.

Position: Senior Electrician

Location: West Africa (Offshore)

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a closely related field, or at least 5 years of drilling-related experience.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline in a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining electrical equipment in an offshore environment. This includes proficiency with power generation systems, electrical power distribution, drilling equipment, and auxiliary systems such as Siemens PLCs, ABB drives, and Kongsberg Vessel Management Systems.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Valid Passport.
• Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
• Seaman’s Book.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
• BOSIET certification (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training).

Key Responsibilities not limited to:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on offshore platforms.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize electrical operations and system reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior electrical staff.
